Libby Rowell

Libby has been a part of Strictly Stage since the tender age of five. She took part in a number of different classes and has featured in every annual Strictly Stage show from 2009 - 2019. When she was only ten years old, Libby received a scholarship and was moved to a more advanced class than her regular class at Haymoor Junior School to what is now known as “Fast Track Academy”. Despite being extremely nervous, this class would later be what would spark her passion for Performing Arts and Dance in particular. As well as this, it would also be what enticed Libby to contemplate and potentially pursue a career in the industry. Upon leaving Poole High School, Libby attended the Jellicoe Theatre where she studied dance. She left with Triple Distinction*’s.

Libby’s favourite time of year is show season as she fell in love with the glitz, glam and razzle dazzle of it all many years ago. Upon teaching mostly the younger members of Strictly Stage, Libby also takes classes at different Infant schools during the week as well as teaching the core dance disciplines to our Pre-Primary Ballet, Tap & Modern and Primary Ballet, Tap & Modern at Ashdown Leisure Centre, also working closely alongside Jazz teacher Rachel within Fast Track Academy.

Adding more strings to her bow Libby is now fully qualified in different aspects of the beauty industry and specialises in spray tanning, body contouring and eyelash extensions.
